I reported this a couple of days ago and received your reply. Unfortunately you closed the issue before I was able to respond. I did notice that someone else also commented on the issue in a similar vein.
You have stated that the surface seems fine. As a daily cyclist, I can assure you it is not fine. When cycling down the hill, you actively attempt to avoid the patches that are ground as they are quite severely rutted, some in the up/downhill direction and some across the road. This puts you in conflict with other road users. If this is not the right forum to gain further information about the intentions or discuss it more fully, could you let me know who to make contact with please? In my opinion, the 'Planing' work has made the situation worse that if it had been left alone and I assumed that further work was planned to improve the surface. Thanks.
Thank you for your update. As previously mentioned, this has been inspected and the issues mentioned does not meet our current risk based criteria. We will continue to monitor this on our routine inspections and work will be carried out once funding becomes available.

Hello again, Would it be possible to give me an email address or contact name where this could be discussed more fully? I believe that the current situation is more dangerous than the original surface. Can you advise how was a decision made to carry out the works in the first place with seemingly no consultation or warning. Stating that the problem is 'Fixed' is incorrect. Its status is unchanged, still a problem. I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks.
