This lamp post has not been working for around a year. It has been reported to Harrow Council again.

  • Thank you for your query, one of many regarding this particular lighting column. The street lighting unit in question outside the property below has been forwarded to UKPN electric utility for detailed repair of the underground power supply, and will likely take at least 28-60 days, usually longer to actually excavate and correct the fault.

    London Borough of Harrow Council street lighting and its contractors are not permitted to undertake this type of repair, as it must be done only by the Network Authority UKPN. Hopefully, it will be back in light soon.

    UKPN privately own this underground network, and we cannot escalate or accelerate their company’s work methodology or schedule, the Council has no control. We can only suggest the option of logging a formal complaint in writing on their website, or phoning them using their incident reference highlighted in yellow below. A public notice will also eventually be displayed on this column that the Council is aware, giving details for contacting UKPN.
