People are speeding on this stretch of road between the mini roundabouts at the station road bridge and the rectory hill junction. There is a nursery on the road and many parents walk here with small children. It is dangerous to cross. The pavement has been damaged next to the mini roundabout close to Daybreak Nursery as large lorries have repeatedly driven into the kerb and broken large pieces off. A road sign was also damaged where someone has driven into it. It is very unsafe for pedestrians as cars drive very close together and very close to the pavements. There is nowhere safe to cross either this part of the road or at the mini roundabout to get to Amersham station, and many people are having to cross here with babies in prams and buggies. Pelican crossings or speed bumps or speed cameras would help with this. The road also has multiple potholes every winter and I do not think large lorries should be able to use it, as they could use the larger road on Hill Avenue instead.
