On North Kelsey Road before the junction of Hadrian Way in Caistor. The pothole has formed once again! Photo is taken on North Kelsey Road, looking towards the turn at Hadrian Way (on the left). As I said before, the entire surface across that section of the road would benefit from being replaced.

This pothole was supposed to have been repaired, but the poor quality filling simply keeps lifting out every few months. I firmly believe it is the trench across the road that requires digging out and refilling, since the patch repairs do not work.

Further to your response regarding the filling of this pothole, please could you once again let me know when ‘your partners’ will come and fix it. I do not think that waiting two months is entirely acceptable and would stress that the HGV impact is affecting nearby properties as well as those swerving around it on the road.

This pothole has not been attended & there is an audible noise as vehicles go over it. It is getting worse & some vehicles are swerving which is dangerous. It was reported back in April & has only gotten worse since then.

Further to your instruction for “your partners” to repair the pothole detailed above, please could you actually let me know when, or if, they are going to complete another repair. It is now three months since notification, which is wholly unacceptable. The hole has deteriorated even more and the lorries from CDL continue to shake the nearby houses when lorries hit the hole. If you are unable to complete a repair, please note that I will be doing it myself (at least the repair might last longer than a few months that way!).

Paul Skelton

I have read your response time document & the longest period of waiting is 90 days & this fault is was first reported 3rd April, over 4 months ago. Could you please clarify which category this road falls under so I can better understand your policy? Thank you.
