The wall that was damaged on 23rd February 2017 by an Oak Tree that fell out of St Mary’s Hall Trust Gardens. The tree fell across the Tink-a-Tank, damaging the stone wall to the gardens, the brick wall on the other side of the footpath and several cars in our car park. You can read about the tree fall here: https://www.leamingtoncourier.co.uk/ news/ fallen-tree-damages-church-wall-in-warwick-1-7836339
The stone wall to St Mary’s garden has been repaired by St Mary’s Hall Trust, but the brick wall has never been repaired. We understand that St Mary’s Hall Trust reported the damage to Warwickshire County Council Surveyors department, inviting them to make an insurance claim, but never heard anything back.
The damage is about 50 meters along the Tink-a-Tank from The Butts. It can be seen readily from the footpath or from the private road leading to the flats and rear of the Jury Street properties.
