Its been nearly a month now since I reported the loose drain cover......I was thinking if I put some cones around it , then it would stop vehicles going over it. It seems it the only way I will get some sleep at night.

I have had a closer look at the offending metal cover outside 117 high st if I pour some concrete around the cover this would stop it making a loud noise as cars go over it. If you have any other temporary solutions to the problem can you give me some help......thank you

I am kept awake at night, then when I finally get some sleep, I am woken early in the morning as vehicles drive over the metal cover making a very loud noise. I long for a peaceful night's sleep and feel very angry the noisy cover has not been attended to.

This website obviously has very little, if any effect, because the man hole cover outside 117 High St still makes a loud noise every time vehicles travel over it, which is hundreds of cars every day. This problem is causing a great deal of stress to the residents living close to the offending metal cover.I have contacted the local council and they tell me that its not their responsibility to deal with that type of noise,
