There are no signs restricting motor vehicle

Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 13:48, Thu 28 March 2019

Sent to Kent County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1587093.

I have lived in this area since 1964, suddenly there has been an increase of general traffic along the foot path for which the only sign I have seen says share the path, meaning pedestrians and cyclists. I know that there are council service vehicles which always drive slowly. Need to ensure this area remains a safe walking and cycling area...

Updates

  • I was walking along here today and a vehicle drove down much too fast. She didn’t slow for dogs or pedestrians or a lady with a pram to get out of her way. I’ve been up here with council vehicles and they are so careful and slow. But she was doing excess of 30mph. There is nothing road sign wise that says what is allowed. If it’s a road that cars can freely drive up why are there no speed restrictions, to outline it for the ignorant.
