Old tree showing distinct signs of decay

Tree outside Number 3 Pine Avenue has recently lost a branch in recent gales , branch was pulled into residents drive in order to stop it blocking road and pavement and now needs to be removed . The tree appears to be dying ,showing substantial decay to trunk and really needs to be replaced
