Lines repainted wrong at this junction

Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 18:33, Sun 24 March 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxford City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1582404.

When Iffley road was resurfaced they repainted the lines wrong; the left hand lane as you come north-west down the hill is too narrow so cars end up in cycle lane.

  • This is not fixed. If it was a mistake by the county council, when will they restore it?

  • I also agree this problem has not been fixed as it completely negates the point of the ASL. I'll email the County Council post election.

  • Thankyou for your reply, I will pass this to the county council as the Highway Authority. Oxford City only maintain the existing lines and don't change the design or lay out, this will be a Highway Authority function.
