Road re-surfacing

Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 11:05, Friday 22 March 2019

Sent to Highland Council 6 minutes later

The road from our house for approximately 100 yards is severely damaged in places. As there is not a footpath and it is a single track road, both my mother and father in law have to walk on it to get to the bus stop. They are both in their late 80’s so it is vital for both their safety that this piece of road surface is not littered with holes and bumps. Previous repairs have been very patchy. Can this please be assessed for re-surfacing? Thank you.

Updates

  • The Highland Council have filled some of the holes, however as they use their vehicle to flatten the tar, it still makes it uneven for two 85-90 year olds to walk over it, especially as both use walking sticks.
