Campervan parked illegally opposite junction

Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1576969.
Campervan is being stored outside a residential property on Wordsworth Road on public highway. It is right opposite the junction with Tennyson Drive. It's position is blocking safe use of Worsdworth Road forcing cars on to the wrong side of the road when driving from Mill Road down Wordsworth. It also forces cars to prematurely go on to the wrong side of the road in order to turn on to Tennyson Drive. It blocks safe road position for vehicles as well as blocking safe view for all vehicles using this road. It has been there for several months now, certainly before Christmas and has no signs of being there only temporarily as it has shutters in the window and an electric cable running to it. It is fortunate that no accidents have happened yet. I already try not to use this road now for fear of an accident

I reported to Abingdon neighborhood policing team and they said it's not ideal but neither is it breaking the law!

Following this my daughter has nearly been knocked off he push bike on more than one occasion due to this obstruction in the road. I have also had car nearly go into me whilst reversing out of my driveway due to lack of visibility when coming down Wordsworth Road. There must be something someone can do as the According to the Highway Code, motorists should not park “opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space”. While the Highway Code isn't the law, it can be used to support decisions made by the police or other officials responsible for parking enforcement. I think the authorities are making excuses as to the responsibility of the issue.
