Aggressive beggars, addicts rough sleepers blighting Bognor

Reported anonymously at 08:24, Tue 19 March 2019

Sent to Arun District Council and West Sussex County Council 1 minute later

Ever since Lloyds Chemists in Queensway began issuing heroin substitute Bognor and its businesses have been blighted by growing squalid, insanitary encampments of addicts, aggressive beggars and rough sleepers in the Precinct and High Street areas. They shout foul language for no reason at people, excrete in doorways and create an air of menace that makes me avoid shops like Holland and Barrett and the whole area at night. This will get worse with the summer good weather. Where are the police?

  • Large heaps of bedding are now building up in a doorway in the precinct. I gather word is going around Crawley and North Sussex that Bognor is the place to be. It undermines any attempt to improve Bognor centre.
