Yellow-lines required south side of Abinger Gardens EH12

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:08, Monday 18 March 2019

Sent to Edinburgh City Council 2 minutes later

South-side of Abinger Gardens has no parking restrictions or yellow-lines for the vast majority of the road. Side against fence/trees. Abinger Gardens is a narrow street and cars park on both sides. The north side has restrictions. However the south side has none and this encourages drivers to park their vehicles here all day while they work in the city centre. This limits access along the road. Often there are vans parked which limits the access even further. It is only a matter of time before an emergency vehicle has access prevented due to the current parking issue. Yellow-lines or residents parking restrictions are necessary before a serious incident occurs.
