Broken dropped kerb on cycle path crossing entrance to Molesworth Street car park

Reported in the Roads/Highways category anonymously at 21:30, Sunday 17 March 2019

Sent to Lewisham Borough Council 53 minutes later

This very damaged kerbline has been here for many months. It is the kerb to the left of the entrance way into the Molesworth Street car park, where the cycle path crosses the car park entrance.

The road surface next to the kerb (where the puddle has collected in the image) is also depressed into the ground. This means there is no longer a dropped kerb for cyclists and wheelchair users. There are now also issues with rainwater drainage as a result, which may be fixed by repairing the car park entrance road.

PLEASE DO NOT FIT AN INAPPROPRIATE GULLEY/DRAIN IN THE PATH OF CYCLISTS USING THE CYCLE PATH AS THIS WILL POSE A GREATER RISK OF INJURY FOR CYCLE PATH USERS.

If left unfixed, this could pose a risk of damage to vehicles wishing to use the cycle path as well as a risk of injury.
