Treacherous surface.

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1573655.
This concrete surface is terrible to walk on, the nobbles of concrete twist your feet and ankles! Just a row of slabs would help. Also my little dog’s struggle to walk across, as their whole foot goes down the grooves! I realise money is tight, but concrete slabs don’t cost the earth. This is the pathway underneath the bypass bridge, between Arrow and Alcester. Thank you.

I don’t think it will ever be fixed, I don’t understand why it was done in this way, rights of way should not be treacherous, but a lot of them are, it puts people off using them! The bypass has just about ruined a number of rights of way in that area! It was once a place of great natural beauty, a pleasure to walk, but no more, the car is king, the pedestrian is barely an afterthought! There are places where the path should have been rerouted, there was room for it, instead of which we have to clamber up crumbling steps and over awful stiles, only to be confronted by vehicles travelling in excess of 70mph along the bypass, not to mention the fumes/air pollution! Yes the bypass has made a huge difference to the traffic going through our town, but it has cost us dearly in our open spaces.

A little bit of concrete or leftover tarmac would go a long way this path is as the poster says treacherous lovely place to walk once you get past the ugly bridge but that path is dangerous
