In front of 'Peacocks, behind Bus Stop, behind pillars, very dangerous paving slab, deep fall.

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 14:55, Friday 15 March 2019

Sent to Hampshire County Council 5 minutes later

Walking behind the pillars of a shop to avoid the queue at the Bus Stop - I stepped on a paving slab which sank very deeply, causing me to lose my balance.

The slab appears even to it's neighbours, so not discernable as a hazard. Not safe for anyone of any age.

Updates

  • I had an email from the Council stating that they did not know whose jurisdiction it was. End of story. Couldn't be bothered to find out who would be responsible either.

Caring organisation to not be interested in preventing potential life-changing accidents
