Numerous deep large potholes varying depths and sizes. Vehicles are now having to use grass verges to avoid them. Road subsidence in places along the road. Has been reported on numerous occasions but nothing has been done about it. We now have to put up with forestry lorries causing even more damage to the road. Regarding photos, we are busy people and we would appreciate a council highways representative to assess the current poor state of the road. Numerous council lorries and vans travel along this highway and so it is a frequently travelled road

These potholes have been here since the heavy snow of March/April 2013 and needs addressing immediately as we have been extremely patient awaiting attention. Council have been along the road spray painting and earmarking the potholes over a period of time but the spray has disappeared with no work undertaken over this time.

This problem was inadequately dealt with by highways department as not ALL potholes were repaired. The use of the council vehicle tyres to roll the tarmac was incompetent & lazy when they were carrying the appropriate machine on their vehicle and the fact that they could not be bothered to make a trench to drain the surface water off the road, which is the initial cause of the problem avoiding a recurrence of it, is another example of poor time management. The other problem regarding road subsidence which was reported on the same day as potholes has not even been acknowledged even though SEVERAL COUNCIL VEHICLES regularly travel this road.
