Fence blown down exposing A264
Reported anonymously at 16:39, Sun 10 March 2019
Sent to Mid Sussex District Council and West Sussex County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1567304.
The fence on Highways land at Erica Way Copthorne Rh103xg exposing the bust A264. The fence was recently damaged when contactors Castle Kelly installed electricity cables for the Holly farm development, they were digging a trench and the digger tipped landing on the fence and wall. Todays high winds blew the length of fencing over. Closer inspection shows that the fence is rotten. This now exposes children who play outside to the busy A264.

The pin location is incorrect. It should be alongside the other pin between Erica Way and A264

The fence is still down. Natta have installed a temporary metal fence and propped up the other fence. This still needs resolving. The increase of noise since the fence blew down is noticeable

28/5/19 The fallen fence is still laying on the floor. My question is how long will the temporary fence be in place? Perhaps we should plant some shrubbery to help reduce the increased road noise…..

Local residents have been disturbed enough by the increased road noise so have lifted the fence and cable tied it to the temporary fence. This still needs to be addressed
