Rapid deterioration of existing potholes in gutter side and centre of road
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 20:01, Thursday 7 March 2019
Sent to North Yorkshire County Council 4 minutes later
There are now large 1m length and 6cm deep potholes near side above Half moon pub and the central defect is >50cm and 5cm deep. Both areas pose serious risk of injury to cyclists with potential of death to the unsuspecting rider. These potholes need prioritising for repair
The attempted fix of these potholes is simply laughable, if it wasn't potentially so dangerous. Although some asphalt has been put in the deepest holes, it simply doesn't even make them level and is already sinking to 4cm below the road level. Whoever carried the repair work out should be made to return and do the job properly free of charge.
