Many potholes, some very deep and wide.

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 15:40, Tuesday 5 March 2019

Sent to Lancashire County Council 5 minutes later

The area immediately outside the gates of the Council Depot on Snowdon Road has been cursed with potholes for a couple of years now. No proper repairs have been carried out and so there are potholes on top of potholes, this condition carries along Snowdon Road to the concrete factory. Considering that this is directly outside the Council Depot the question must be asked... Do the depot staff recognise a pothole when they see one?

Updates

  • This section of Snowdon Road is getting progressively worse with wider and deeper holes. The worst section is directly outside the Council depot and just along the road from the concrete factory. The dozens of heavy lorries daily must surely require the entire length of Snowdon road to be re-surfaced ASAP.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • The holes have been fixed but only in a half-hearted way. The filling tarmac is not flattened to match what is left of the original surface. Not impressed!

    State changed to: Fixed
