Breakspear Road South - Both carriageways - potholes, slumping of gutters

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Nick Roberts at 21:42, Fri 1 March 2019

Sent to Hillingdon Borough Council 3 minutes later

Observed PM 1/3/2019 - Breakespear Road South, in between the latest Carrillion Site access road and Tile Kiln Lane. The road in very poor state of repair, with surface delamination, mini-potholes, slumping of the carriageway and gutters. This seems to have got considerably worse since last week. At night, it is very hazardous. Surely, the council, perhaps in conjunction with Carrilliuon, must install temporary lighting along this section of road, at least whilst its in this condition, to avoid a major accident

  • It appears that no action has yet been taken here, apart form one small pothole filled.

There are numerous instances of unfixed potholes, carriageway delamination and carriageway/kerbside slumping all along the section of the northeast bound carriageway from just before the Chiltern line railway bridge to the junction with Tile Kiln Lane.

Most of these were present before the winter weather began and most of these defects have developed to become a good deal worse over the winter.

Along with Coronation Road, Park Royal, this has got to be one of the worst maintained roads in the district
