Sign facing wrong way (by 180 degs) on A24 dual carriageway

Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 12:19, Tuesday 26 February 2019

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later

A triangular "Two Way Traffic" sign on the A24 Findon by-pass faces traffic that has just ENTERED the dual carriageway rather than facing traffic that is about to LEAVE it! It has been like this for many months. It is located on the central reservation at Nepcote, facing Northbound traffic (i.e. that leaving Worthing, heading towards Horsham). It needs to be turned through 180 degrees. Or removing - other signs in place may make this one redundant now. There are many incorrect road signs in West Sussex (mainly "Keep Left" signs placed where traffic passes to the RIGHT of them!) but this is one of the worst.
