Delay to roadworks in Rayners Avenue

Reported by Sue Kinloch at 11:26, Tue 26 February 2019

Sent to Wycombe District Council 4 minutes later

This problem is related to the delayed road works in Rayners Avenue and closure of Cock Lane. Please be aware that the delay has caused untold problems for people leaving Robinson Road and surrounding access to other housing. The local bus and school bus are having considerable difficulty getting through. If the roads works could be lifted for rush hour times, peopleslives and welfare would be considerable relieved. There is also an impact on my environment due to traffic chaos and loss of revenue with people trying to get to their places of work. Please reconsider the roadworks projects. A little planning and re organisation would help all.

  • I have no idea if my comments have been taken on board. With Rayners Avenue open, congestion is improved. However Rayners Avenue needs to be completely re tarmac and I guess this is imminent as the footpath has now been completed. If this is in the planning stage please consider the needs of the rush hour traffic.
