Hole in tree planting area on pavement

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 11:48, Mon 17 January 2011

Sent to Plymouth City Council 2 minutes later

Trees previously planted in the pavement have been uprooted. This has left large potholes. On Saturday I tripped on one of these potholes resulting in a nasty accident and badly spraining my right wrist and elbow. This has been highlighted to PCC before about the holes left behind and needs to be filled in urgently. It was late afternoon and the area is not well lit to avoid holes in the pavement.

  • The problem at the time of reporting was hopeless. I was like a ball being bounced from one organisation to another and to be quite honest I am passed caring. It seems to me that until a tragedy happens (which could well be) no one really gives a damn.
