Drivers ignoring the white line and parking right across the roundabout

This junction is proving to be really dangerous. Both a friend and myself, in separate incidents have had near misses on this roundabout due to drivers ignoring the ruling of staying behind the white line until the lights change in their favour. The whole junction was blocked and the drivers from Newgate Lane were still coming onto the roundabout thus preventing the rest of the roundabout from clearing. This was mid afternoon, I hate to think what it must be like during the rush-hour.

  • Apparently nothing has changed at this junction. It would seem that the solution to this problem would be to put in the yellow 'hatch' cross lines here. I wonder, has it even been monitored?
