Rubbish from vehicle dumped in Fairdown Close cul-de-sac

Reported in the Flytipping category by Daphne Dear at 10:49, Monday 25 February 2019

Sent to Winchester City Council 1 minute later

I reported by phone the dumping of the rubbish from a vehicle onto the road and verge of Fairdown Close. Nobody has got back to me about it. I filled in the appropriate form which W.C.C. provide explaining the situation and nobody has got back to me. Our road is in a shocking state making it look the ideal spot for such as this driver to empty their trash. If no one is to take seriously my complaint about the rubbish can we please have the road swept as soon as possible. The lack of sweeping our street has been on ongoing problem for many, many years . The latest development adds insult to injury

  • I have heard nothing about the report I put in about the rubbish which was dumped nor has anyone been to sweep our street since last November.

  • The road has been partially swept but a large pile of leaves and debris swept up by my neighbour and ready for collection has been left, as have thousands of leaves near our car and on the pavement. No one contacted me about the rubbish dumped in our road inspite of the fact that I had a letter published in The Hampshire Chronicle about it. The pavement has not been swept at all and we are constantly having to go out and clear it ourselves in order to make it easier to walk on.
