Dangerous road surfaces

The roads at the junction of Croydon Road and Elmers End Road are covered in loose gravel and detritus which makes it immediately dangerous for users of two-wheeled vehicles. The roads need to be swept up to around the various traffic islands and also in the centre of the roads to fix the problems.

  • Bromley Council report this matter as "Fixed". Really? It is nothing of the sort. You have done nothing whatsoever and then report the matter as "Fixed". Nothing has changed and this road junction is still immediately dangerous to two-wheel users!

  • We inspected the road and the loose material will be swept soon. We are planning to undertake the works on the defective carriageway in the summer. In the mean time potholes will be repaired by minor works team as and when they receive the complaint.
