Raised kerb and rut along bus stop/road edge

When filtering around/through heavy traffic at low speed (making progress as required by highway code) this raised kerb/rut along the bus stop edge creates a serious hazard for motorcycle/bicycle users whereby a front wheel can easily get sucked down and caught in the edge of the rut. Unable to clear the raised kerb of the bus stop this is highly likely to lead to an accident. This happened to me on my motorcycle yesterday afternoon causing considerable damage to my bike. Luckily I only have a few scrapes/bruises. Don't know why there isn't a ramped entry into the bus stop or at least level entry with main highway?
