Hughenden Road Hastings

Reported in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 11:39, Wednesday 20 February 2019

Sent to East Sussex County Council and Hastings Borough Council 1 minute later

This street is usually festooned with rubbish, more than any other street that I know. There are also several houses that seem to persistently leave rubbish in their front gardens and black the pavement with barbecues, bicycles and other obstructions. The rubbish issue is ongoing and has existed for at least the last 3 years.

  • I think the council had a go at cleaning up but it was quite quickly back to its usual state

  • The problem is partly caused by foxes and seagulls tearing bags and the bin men not clearing up spillages
