A gentleman rang Rugby Borough Council switch board today from his canal barge to say he saw an arctic lorry going over a bridge over the canal on Brownsover Road near the Crown pub which has a weight limit of 7.5 tonnes but sign visibility 25 yards away concealed by overhanging branches and its dirty. Local boaters said they have seen big arctic lorries using this bridge regularly and therefore he is concerned for the structural integrity of the bridge!
