Sunk pavement causing flooding and death trap

Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 10:51, Wednesday 20 February 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council 4 minutes later

Sunk pavement causes floodingin a huge pool of water making it hazardous to pedestrians and forcing them to walk on the road. Issue is on pavement outside no 15 and 9 Ravensmead Road and also on opposite side of road. The pavement all along Ravensmead Road is hazardous but particularly bad at this point. It’s only time before a serious accident occurs as although a quiet road traffic now uses this as a cut through travelling at alarming speeds and if children are forced onto the roads due to the state of the flooded pavement this could result in a tragedy.

  • This is an ongoing problem and is in no way resolved how can I appeal this closure of this as ‘no action required from the council’ it is a clear health and safety issue as every time it rains the pavements flood with no safe pavement either side for pedestrians to walk on forcing them onto the road.

  • This is outside number 9, 15 and 19 Ravensmead Road BR2 0BD. Every time it rains flooding occurs that completely makes the pavement on both sides unusable for pedestrians forcing them on to the road. The flooding remains for several days and sometimes weeks. The problem is ongoing and is a drainage problem with the pavement. I would like to talk to someone about this problem.
