Sent to Oxford City Council 3 minutes later
The state of this section of Woodstock road is frankly a disgrace. (From the roadabout at the ring road to around Moreton Road). The uneven, deteriorated surfacing is one thing, but what is really dangerous are the countless, deep potholes that are everywhere. I frequently see cars swerving to avoid them. This is a heavily used main road, there are many cyclists (students/school children) using this route. I saw in another reply apparently the council has assessed the road condition to not be bad enough to worth re-surfacing? Please publish your criteria, maybe there needs to be an accident before anything gets done?
Thank you for your report, I can advise there is a scheme in place for Woodstock Road patching works which starts in the middle of March, however we will continue to monitor the situation in the meantime.
