Various potholes along B2028
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 10:44, Sun 17 February 2019
Sent to West Sussex County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1546520.
It has been now for months that the B2028 Turners Hill Road from the Dukes Head to Crawley Down village has been left in complete disrepair with a large amount of potholes. This is now unacceptable and disgraceful given the fact that we pay large Council Tax and Road Tax. Where is all the money going?

Dear Sir/Madam, I am absolutely aghast that the council is blatantly ignoring all the damage and dangerous potholes in my road and everywhere else. All the building lorries that rush up and down Crawley Down Turners Hill Road and constantly damage our road and pose a danger to cars and pedestrians as also do not respect the speed limit. This chosen ignorance has to stop.

Absolutely outrageous the way the council is deliberately ignoring the issues with our street

Despite repeated requests to WSCC highways to repair what must be hundreds of potholes, and assurances from them that the work is on hand, no action has been taken. In mid July the annual London to Brighton bike ride will travel along this stretch of road. It is very likely there will be accidents as a direct result of these potholes. Will WSCC be liable for any injuries/accidents.
