Terrible broken road surface/potholes

Sent to West Sussex County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1546193.

The road surface on swanfield drive is in a terrible state of disrepair, littered with big holes. Some effort has been made to repair he road surface but not even half of it has been done. I've reported this issue on a previous occasion and got a response that "although the surface is bad it is not bad enough to warrant repairing". Well I'm afraid I'm not buying this, as a road near where I live has recently been repaired (link lane, pulborough) and the surface of this road was nowhere near as bad as swanfield drive. If the surface of link lane warranted a repair, then by the same token swanfield drive definately IS bad enough to warrant a repair. This would be a double-standard and frankly unacceptable.
