The amount of litter on the A4130 Dual Carriageway

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 15:10, Sat 16 February 2019

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 5 minutes later

The amount of litter on both verges and both sides of the central reservation on the A4130 Dual Carriageway, between Bix and the turning to Lower Assendon is a disgrace. This has been reported several times and nothing has been done. Please arrange to clear all the litter ASAP

Updates

  • I agree. I would go further and say that this is an ongoing problem because commercial waste carriers are using this road without properly securing their loads - very large waste items regularly end up on the verges. I would recommend that the council monitors the road (perhaps with video cameras or volunteers and record which waste carriers use the road then prosecute them.
