Unclear cycle/pedestrian signs and neglected paths

Unclear or worn out signs mean that pedestrians often don't realise that they are walking on the designated cycle path (and vice -versa) causing confusion, confrontation, collisions and frustration to all. The river path between Riverside Close and Watercress Path is neglected and covered in leaf mulch which adds to problem of masking the (worn out) painted signs and makes the paths slippery and muddy.
