Dangerously High Trees

Reported via iOS in the Trees category anonymously at 22:35, Friday 8 February 2019

Sent to Dudley Borough Council 5 minutes later

I am concerned about the height of the trees directly to the rear of my property on council parkland - large branches regularly fall off and consider this to be a health and safety issue - in addition having lived here for 13 years the height of the two large oaks is concerning myself and neighbours as if they were to fall they would crush my property. No pollarding or routine maintenance has ever been carried out by the council on these two trees. When having work done on trees in my garden the arboriculturalist comment that the trees need urgent attention as are a health and safety risk. In addition they are depriving my property of natural light and the lawn is full of moss.

This is the second time I have raised this issue as in the most recent high winds branches have Brocken off and adults and children walk under these trees on a daily basis - I do not want to see anyone get hurt.
