Mud on footpath needs clearing on approach to Hewitts Roundabout
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by Badgers Mount at 16:02, Wed 6 February 2019
Sent to Kent County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1534581.
The footpath is getting difficult to use due to the amount of mud - please see photo. This was reported last year https://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 1222592 & KCC ref. 336994 ("Enquiry investigated and no further action planned"). A number of people use this path to walk/run/cycle and it's becoming dangerous as it's next to a busy road. As suggested previously bollards or similar need installing to stop vehicles churning things up once the mud has been cleared. Thanks.

Path still covered in mud and now also undergrowth pushing walkers closer to this very busy roundabout. This forms part of a circular route around Badgers Mount so is used by a few people. Separate KCC fault raised as it's unlikely they'll see this. Ref: 443737

KCC have replied: "I have just raised a job to get the section of footway along this road cleared between the Kent county border (approximately 50m south of the A21/M25 roundabout) to the junction of Badgers Road, as well as getting the verge reinstated. This has been raised as on a three month job order, once I get a date for the works I will update you further."

Pleased to see the path has now been cleared - took 20 months, but it's now much safer for those that walk in this area.
