Excess weed growth preventing the road from draining

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 15:09, Monday 4 February 2019

Sent to Cornwall Council 1 minute later

The drainage of The Causeway road is blocked by ever-growing weeds, causing heavy rain to flood halfway across the highway, between the dual-carriageway and Chenhalls Road junction This has been ongoing whenever there is heavy rain, and the weeds and grass growth has been allowed to remain blocking the drainage into the estuary.

  • Nothing done! Still the same weedgrowth.

I have also reported it directly to Cornwall Council - and "it has been reported"!

Nothing will be done until there is an accident involving cyclists - who should be on the cycle-way.
