Extremely narrow path (Runton FP 23)

Reported in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 00:10, Mon 4 February 2019

Sent to Norfolk County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1531251.

Runton FP 23: Where the path passes in between what are now "Driftwood" and "Strome", the available path width between hedge and fence is extremely narrow - see photo. There is insufficient width for two pedestrians to pass each other without quarrelling. The Norfolk County Council needs to look at the available evidence, including its definitive map and the 1927 Ordnance Survey 25" County Series map (see: https://maps.nls.uk/ view/ 120846947 ) and consider: was the path originally dedicated at such a narrow width as that which is now available? What consideration was given to the legal width of the path, when the fences were put in?
