Something needs to be done about the frequency of speeding down Stanley road. It's is a 30mph zone and there are frequently cars who extensively surpass this speed limit. The road borders a very popular park and there are always pedestrians and lots of children walking to the park and crossing over the road from the park to the car park opposite. St Joseph's primary school is very close too. There are lots of families with young children who live on this road too ( I have a 2 year old and 4 year old) and I fear one day there will be a terrible accident if nothing is done about this. Speed bumps seem the most obvious solution. There are speed bumps along love lane , which is the road at the top of Stanley road which also borders the park. I don't understand why bumps aren't in place on Stanley road aswell consithe nearby amenities and level of speeding.
