School Bus route not gritted - lethal conditions

Reported anonymously at 08:24, Wed 30 January 2019

Sent to Lancashire County Council and Preston City Council 1 minute later

The whole length of Longsands Lane does not seem to have been gritted at all last night even though snow was forecast - I presume this is because the local bus company has discontinued regular public bus service down that road. The issue is the School buses for Archbishop, Longsands, Broughton, Bolton Grammer and Kirkham Grammer still use this road. Its full of compacted snow and black ice especially where the road goes down a hill to Eastway cars slipping into the main road. This needs to be raised with Preston Concil Highways and Lancashire County Council (I tried their website but it is reporting a Error 404 page not found on the web.

Wont be long before an accident happens - opefully it wond be a double decker full of my children and their friends
