Council not emptying black bin due to been too heavy!

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 18:42, Tue 29 January 2019

Sent to Hull City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1527192.

Black bin didn’t get emptied, called council they said no log is yet available call back. Called back the log was the bin is too heavy. Of course it is, it’s full of rubbish. I said I will empty it, to make lighter? They told me to do so but still will not collect the bin any earlier. The bin was not over flowing! It’s lazyness. The bin man moved the bin half way down the street before deciding it’s too heavy. And they wonder why people fly tip. Bins either don’t get emptied round here or get stolen and burnt at the abandoned houses.
