An enormous amount of "stuff" including Fridges/ a Car/ Calor Gas Bottles/Old Fence Panels etc etc etc.

Reported in the Flytipping category by Sandra Osborn at 18:06, Tue 29 January 2019

Sent to Breckland District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1527167.

There is an enormous amount of "stuff" alongside the B1065 at Emily's Wood. This includes a car / fridges / Calor Gas Bottles/ Old Fence Panels, etc. etc. etc. Since October 2016, yes 2016 Breckland District Council and Norfolk County Council have said they are looking into the issue. Please stop "looking at it" and do something about it. Breckland D.C. have confirmed that it is NOT on private land, so why aren't Breckland D.C. and or Norfolk C.C. Enforcement Agency getting this cleared?? It is an absolute eye soar.

  • Breckland District Council say it is very difficult to sort this problem out. Oh no it's not, it's called man power & a truck, then chuck the bill to who ever has left it in this disgusting state. Easy!! Why has the authorities ignored the issue & let it get in this state??

  • Nothing has been done. Breckland D.C. say they are working with "other authorities" with an aim of getting the verge cleared, but they also say they have been trying this for years. Just what authority or drive has BDC got in keeping our County junk free. ___ None.
