Unnecessary traffic jamming point

Traffic travelling west on rossiter road is narrowed unecessarily at the juntion with wells way - appreciate that the underpass works require 2 lanes to be narrowed to 1 at the point of the underpass - however there is no need to extend this narrowing to include the immediate approach to the junction - if just 4 cones were moved back then this would allow 2 lanes of traffic to negotiate the junction itslef and would speed up traffic flow - at the time of writing this (1.00pm ish on sunday 27th jan) the impact of thhis unnecessary jam is that westbound traffic is backed up to bathwick hill and possibly beyond - i hope this is helpful and perhaps might avoid driver frustration directed at the council and/or the workmen
