Badly deteriorated footpaths
Reported anonymously at 12:28, Sat 26 January 2019
Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1523969.
Decades of haphazard patching plus simple wear & tear has left badly deteriorated footpaths all around the older part of Whitestone, which make it very uncomfortable (& in some places dangerous) to walk, so that you're forced onto the road. All footpaths need properly resurfacing.

Council emailed to clarify exactly which streets I was referring to. Reply sent, but no further correspondence received, and no attempt made to improve any of the footpaths notified.

Since raising this issue, noted that all footpaths in nearby Shakespeare Drive have been resurfaced, yet they were in no worse condition than the streets I’ve commented on, but the council refuse to address it. Seems like double-standards.

Took nearly 2 years but success at last, the footpaths are being resurfaced this week.
