Why don’t the street lights work on the roundabout. Makes it very dark to walk to the tram stop.

Thanks again for raising, I've had this reply from the Council below.
All the best,
Elliot Colburn Prospective MP for Carshalton and Wallington
---- Dear Cllr Colburn,
Thank you for your enquiry regarding the lighting in the vicinity of the junction of Ampere Way/CoomberWay/Beddington Farm Road..
We have two known lighting issues in this area: The lighting in the vicinity of the roundabout at the junction of Ampere Way and Coomber Way has had significant power supply problems leading to numerous lighting assets being out of action, This has now been largely resolved but we jus need to take undertake further cabling works to restore 4 lighting units in to operation.
At the the roundabout at the junction of Coomber Way and Beddington Lane a major electrical supply pillar was recently completely destroyed in a road traffic accident, leading to approximately twelve lights being out in Coomber Way. The existing position of the supply pillar is too vulnerable to further impact damage, so we need to undertake a major piece of work to alter the power supply to bring these units back in to lighting.
We are unaware of any specific issues in Beddington Farm Road but will arrange for the road to be inspected during the hours of darkness to make sure that's the case.
Kind regards
Paul Dillon Senior Professional Engineer (Lighting)
