Footbridge still blocked for months!

Sent to Hampshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1520658.

Footbridge across Lavant stream linking New Lane to Littlegreen Avenue is still blocked. Have not seen workmen doing any work here for months, why is it still closed off?

There is also evidence that people have been pulling the barrier fence out to get through anyway, potentially leaving the metal fencing sticking out onto oncoming traffic along New Lane (this would foul the cycle lane)
