Dent in road causing vibration in nearby homes

Reported in the Carriageway Defect category by Paul Buckley at 12:36, Tue 22 January 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxford City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1520344.

The road surface is very uneven. When buses and other heavy vehicles pass over it, serious vibration is experienced in the nearest block of Millway Close. This problem has been there to a lesser degree for many months, but it has been much worse since many HGVs passed over it on 4 January 2019. This occurred because rogue diversion signs misled HGV drivers into thinking they could access Wytham via Lower Wolvercote, following the temporary closure of the southbound A34. Residents are concerned about the potential for structural damage to Millway Close flats, caused by the vibration. It needs repairing as a matter of urgency.
