Cars parking on pavement, worried pedestrians will get hurt especially at school times as children exit local sweet shop
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 11:33, Tue 22 January 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1520236.
Deliveries are being taken place at amazing Grace shop. people in disability scooters have to manover and worried when children are exiting the sweet shop they might be unexpectedly reversed into. The current barries are not spaced correctly meaning cars can fit between the gaps and cars park on the pavement.

Now costcutta are receiving deliveries. the driver is squeezing his car between the posts, people are being forced out of the way as the delivery drivers cant be bothered to walk 10 yards. I really do worry someone is going to get hurt as the cars are manovering on the pavement.

Individuals are now using the pavement area as private parking. People using the pavement are walking onto the road to avoid the cars when manovering on and off the pavement. the above car manovers off the pavement of a morning (during rush hour and children going to school) I think this is a concern which needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. The posts which are in place at the moment outside property number 69 elmers end road are too far appart and cars squeeze between the gaps.

One of the posts (which are suppose to stop cars parking on the pavement) have been now reversed into and leaning at a slight angle. This is because people are parking on the pavement and the bollards which are in place are now being damaged by the cars parking on the pavement.

People are parking over the pavement now forcing padestrians into the road to walk around the traffic parking on the pavement.
One of the bollards has now been hit and leaning at an angle because a car has more than likely forced itself on the pavement.

Van parked on pavement today almost ran over a pedestrian! the delivery driver delivering to costcutter held up traffic on the road and also nearly caused an accident wher the lorry squeezed between the posts. Property number 69 has two little children and if they come out the front door to an unexpected moving vehicle could cause serious harm.
Really think something needs to be done about this as people are going to be hurt with vehicles being parked on the pavement. Given good warning on this matter but nothing has been done!
